License/Certification/Registration:
*Active RN license in the State of Minnesota required.

Education:
*Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
*Master's degree in healthcare related field (preferably nursing) preferred.

Experience:
*10 years of progressively more healthcare, clinic, and/or hospital leadership experience.
*Strong knowledge and demonstrated ability in hospital resource management, patient flow, and staffing.
*Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
*Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to influence without authority.
*Proven ability to develop people through coaching and mentoring.
*Desired characteristics: strategic thinker, facilitator, financial acumen, collaborator, data-based decision maker.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
*Knowledge of how to incorporate evidence-based practices and resources for benchmarking processes and outcomes.
*Demonstrated leadership and communication (written and verbal) competence.
*Demonstrated customer service and family centered orientation.
*Knowledge, methods and skills needed to effectuate change, to understand and value the perspectives and responsibilities of others, and the capacity to mentor others.
*Demonstrates knowledge of Joint Commission, CM, MDH, and Magnet standards.
*Effective project management and proficiency in continuous improvement methodologies.

The posted pay range represents rates for a grouping of multiple jobs within a salary grade. We carefully consider a wide range of factors including but not limited to market indicators for the specific role, the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate, and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Children’s Minnesota.
