*Board BE/BC in Pediatrics from the American Board of Pediatric or BE/BC in Psychiatry from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
*Completion of an ACGME Accredited Fellowship program, per sub specialty requirement OR successful completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited residency in pediatrics and current active participation in a psychiatry training program.
*Board BE/BC in Sub Specialty, if applicable. Ability to be successfully credentialed by both Hospital and 3rd Party Payers.
Required Education:
*Must have an M.D., D.O. or equivalent degree from another country with a current Minnesota Medical License or the ability to obtain one.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
*Clinical competency and expertise in caring for hospitalized children.
*Strong understanding of examination methodologies and diagnostics.
*Knowledge of common medication, side effects and contraindications.
*In-depth knowledge of legal medical guidelines and medicine best practices.
*Excellent oral and written communication skills.
*Respect for patient's confidentiality.
