License/Certification/Registration:
* Registered Nurse in MN required
* BLS required

Education:
* Bachelor's degree preferred
* CPI or Behavioral Health Care & Personal Safety Course within 6 months of hire

Experience:
* 3 to 5 years hospital-based nursing experience.
* Nursing leadership experience in a hospital setting. Could include performance in managerial or supervisory roles as well as charge nurse, educator, and resource nurse roles.
* Utilization of electronic health record systems (e.g., Cerner). Experience with electronic bedboard and surgery scheduling a plus.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
* Demonstrated strong interpersonal communication.
* Critical thinking, analytical, and organization/time management skills.
* Demonstrated ability to lead and influence others.
* Resourceful: recognizes problems and identifies potential solutions by tapping into available resources, staff, and best practices.
* Creates trusting relationships and builds community.
* Able to make decisions and direct others in a dynamic environment.
* Works effectively in an environment with frequent interruptions.
