ITS Education Specialist

Education

*BA in education and/or adult learning, or equivalent experience.

Experience Required:

5 or more years of experience in:

*Experience working with a Healthcare EMR (Electronic Medical Record).

*Education/presentation experience with groups of various sizes, as well as ability to individualize to one-on-one education.

*Developing curriculum and delivering EMR education.

*Use of education methodologies and adult and generational learning principles.

*Minimum 1 - 2 years' experience in providing adult learning.

*Functional, procedural or system analysis for IT applications.

*High level experience using Microsoft Office products.

*Experience in instructional design.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

*Ability to view education issues from a comprehensive, system-wide perspective.

*Knowledge and use of project management and analysis/problem solving.

*Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

*Excellent interpersonal and soft skills demonstrating the ability to work with and instruct all levels of healthcare professionals.

*Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

*Combines creativity with a solid work ethic supporting a high level of productivity.

*Works effectively with subject matter experts and other team members. Leverages relevant clinical informatics and EMR subject matter expert knowledge.
