Qualifications

License / Certification: Physician Assistant Certification by the NCCPA Certification Board and MN Medical Board license required. APRN:  Current MN RN/APRN License certified through Pediatric Nursing Certification Board (PNCB) or America Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Maintain current ATLS, BLS, and PALS certification. ATLS must be obtained within 6 months of hire.

Education: Physician Assistant: Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistants program.  Masters degree required. Doctorate preferred. APRN: Graduate of an accredited Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Program. Master’s Degree required. Doctorate preferred. Acute Care certification required

Experience: At least 2 years pediatric advanced practice trauma clinical experience required.  Experience working with acute trauma patients, trauma rounding experience, and pediatric orthopedic experience preferred
