License/Certification/Registration:
*Current licensure of a Physician Assistant through the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice required
*Physician's Assistant Certification required or in pursuit of recertification defined by the certifying body National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
*Maintain current BLS.
Education:
*Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred.
Experience:
*Documentation of the provision of care to at least 100 patients during the past 24 months.
OR
*Documentation of the provision of inpatient care (including consultative care) for at least 20 patients during the past 24 months.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
*Ability to work independently and interpret laboratory and radiographic data.
*Ability to perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
*Ability to work collaboratively through consultation with other healthcare team providers.
