License/Certification/Registration:
*Registered Pharmacy Technician in the state of Minnesota (required)
*Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) within 1 year of hire (required)
Education:
*Associate or higher college graduate degree, or foreign equivalent, or five years of experience in a pharmacy environment or healthcare industry (required)
Experience:
*Three years working in a pharmacy environment or a combination of equivalent experience suitable for preparation of the individual to work within the specialized pharmacy service (required)
*Experience working within a pharmacy computer system or electronic health record (required)
*Leadership experience (preferred)
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
*Constitutional skills: able to work independently and prioritize, responsible, adaptable, trusted, creative, problem solver, critical thinker, time management, organized, reliable, dependable, strong work ethic, detail-oriented, focused, committed to learning, team player, ownership
*Consistently self-directed, independent and autonomous in areas of responsibility
*Strong interpersonal skills, written and verbal
*Comfortable working with computer programs, such ask MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)
*Experience with dispensing, sterile and non-sterile compounding, and hazardous substances (preferred)
