* B.S. or B.A degree in business, accounting, or finance.
* 4+ years prior healthcare experience related to managed care contracting or payer relations data analysis.
* Demonstrated experience with group presentations, training, or education.
* Demonstrated data analysis experience, knowledge of patient billing systems, working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (expert user status with Excel), and a good understanding financial statements and analysis.
* Working understanding of healthcare coding such as CPTs, HCPCS, Revenue Codes, DRGs, APRDRGs, and Principle Diagnosis Codes.
* Ability to comfortably access healthcare and payer information on-line through the web and web-based tools.
* Training in CQI or Process Improvement methods.
* Proven ability to work with clinical departments with all levels of clinical staff.
