Education:
*Associate's or bachelor's degree in broadcast technology, video engineering, electrical engineering, and/or other relevant experience.
Experience:
*3-5 years of experience in the field of TV and/or video production preferred
*Society of Broadcast Engineer (SBE) certification preferred
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Software: Sedna Presenter, Node Red, Apple Script, Office 365, Google Workspace, MySQL
- Hardware: Behringer, Blackmagic Routers, AJA, Livestream Studio, Dante, Teredek,
- Operating Systems: Windows, Mac OS, Linux, TrueNAS
- Proficiency in Final Cut Pro X, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Davinci Resolve
- Proficiency in operating Blackmagic, Canon and Vaddio PTZ cameras
- Live video switching and audio mixing
- Proficiency in all video formats and workflows
- A background in High Definition video and audio integration
- Troubleshoots network problems, understanding IP networking (i.g. LAN, VLANs, DHCP, NTP etc.)
- Experience upgrading software on a variety of devices (i.g. Cameras, switchers, NAS etc.)
- Perform system monitoring, virtual machines, servers, and key processes
- Proficiency in Automation
- A professional attitude
- Working well under pressure with time sensitive problems
- Must enjoy working with children
- Proficiency in operation of Video Streaming Switchers
- Working Knowledge of Teradek Cube
- Working Knowledge of Qvidium Encoders and Decoders
- Working Knowledge of Sedna Presenter and Tools On Air
- Produce documentation of systems and standard operating procedures
- Ability to read and understand topology documentation (i.g. Block diagrams, Manuals)
Support Existing Infrastructure & Systems
- Responsible for the successful delivery of Star Studio's product to patients and families by managing technical risks and opportunities.
- Use monitoring tools to check on the health of the systems.
- Responds to problems with the systems.
- Tracks episodes for trend analysis and prevention.
- Reduce systems outages to the minimum.
Troubleshoots all technical issues that inevitably arise from hardware.
