Education:
A bachelor's degree (masters preferred), Business or similar field of study.
Experience:
At least ten years progressive and comprehensive leadership experience within Human Resources.
Partnering with business leaders to develop, design and implement relevant strategic human resources strategies
Executing “generalist” HR core processes in areas such as talent management, talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation, performance management, employee assessment and development, success planning and organizational development, and HR systems/analytics
Leading system-wide organizational change in a dynamic, complex and growing organization
Presenting complex content to a variety of audiences (senior leadership, board, departmental, organization) such that it is actionable
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Ability to forge strong relationships and build rapport with colleagues at all levels, acting as a trusted advisor
Ability to work on complex issues with multiple dependencies and stakeholders to drive consensus
Thorough and complete understanding of contemporary Human Resources
Ability to think strategically and make recommendations that will support organizational needs and growth, concurrent to departmental needs
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to shift preferred styles as needed
Highly accountable, effective leadership skills to benchmark, measure and drive department and organization level outcomes and engagement
Ability to look at issues from multiple perspectives and engender trust in decisions
Ability to lead effectively within the Children’s Value
